A Message from Principal Chavez
Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration, welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. We are proud to serve the 1,700 students that attend our school. In 26 years of operation, Cathedral City High School continues to grow in all areas of academic, athletic and extra-curricular life highlighted by consistent growth. I credit our continued academic growth to our hardworking staff and outstanding students. The goal of CCHS is to continue to develop the existing programs on our campus and to constantly strive to add new ideas on our campus for the benefit of our students.

SENIOR PARENT MEETING #4: Tuesday, May 21st from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in Upstairs Lounge
SPRING SPORTS AWARDS NIGHT: Wednesday, May 22nd in the Main Gym at 7:00 pm
GOLDEN LIONS AWARDS NIGHT: Thursday, May 23rd at the Westin Mission Hills at 5:30 pm
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP & AWARDS NIGHT: Thursday, May 23rd at the Westin Mission Hills at 7:15 pm
NO SCHOOL: Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th
CAST TESTING FOR JUNIORS :
JUNIORS will be testing for the state CAASP test on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Please refer to the Parent letter and Testing Schedule below for more details.
2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR REGISTRATION:
INCOMING 9th GRADE STUDENTS: Expect to receive your Registration Packet in the mail by the first week of May if CCHS is your homeschool or you have been approved by the District Office for a transfer.
INCOMING 10th – 12th GRADE STUDENTS: Registration packets will be given to you at school during the first week of May.

NOTE TO PARENTS:
For your student’s safety, please be prepared to show an Official photo I.D. when picking up a student early. Thank you.

Food delivery to students is strictly prohibited from Uber Eats, Postmates, Grubhub, Dominos or other Restaurants. Food may only be delivered directly by parents. Thank you.
