A Message from Principal Chavez
Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration, welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. We are proud to serve the 1,700 students that attend our school. In 26 years of operation, Cathedral City High School continues to grow in all areas of academic, athletic and extra-curricular life highlighted by consistent growth. I credit our continued academic growth to our hardworking staff and outstanding students. The goal of CCHS is to continue to develop the existing programs on our campus and to constantly strive to add new ideas on our campus for the benefit of our students.

2019 IMPORTANT DATES
LION’S PRIDE RALLY: Friday, April 12th
SPRING BREAK: No School from April 15th – 26th
SENIOR PARENT MEETING #1: Tuesday, April 30th from 7 pm – 8 pm in Upstairs Lounge
CAST TESTING FOR JUNIORS :
JUNIORS will begin state testing for CAASP in May. Math will be on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3, 2019. English testing will be Thursday, May 16, and Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Please refer to the Parent letter and Testing Schedule below for more details.
2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR REGISTRATION:
INCOMING 9th GRADE STUDENTS: Expect to receive your Registration Packet in the mail by the first week of May if CCHS is your homeschool or you have been approved by the District Office for a transfer.
INCOMING 10th – 12th GRADE STUDENTS: Registration packets will be given to you at school during the first week of May.
If you don’t receive your Registration packet by the dates listed above, the Records Office will remain open for the summer from 7 am – 2 pm. For more more information please call (760) 770-0112.
NOTE TO PARENTS:
For your student’s safety, please be prepared to show an Official photo I.D. when picking up a student early. Thank you.

Food delivery to students is strictly prohibited from Uber Eats, Postmates, Grubhub, Dominos or other Restaurants. Food may only be delivered directly by parents. Thank you.
